Downtown Library Program to Introduce The Basics of Braille

Families and children in grades K–5 can attend a special program on Saturday, January 26, 2019, 2 to 3 p.m., at Siouxland Libraries’ Downtown Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue, presented by members of the South Dakota Association of the Blind.

An introduction to the written code used by blind and partially sighted people will be followed by a braille storytime. Then kids will learn how to write their names in braille.
